Rosa & Tori...where y’at?

I AM HERE! I'm so sorry I've been a delinquent. It was a crazy day on Tuesday. One of my very best friends had a a vet emergency with her cat. Her husband was away on a business trip, so my wife and I stepped in to be by her side. After spending hours at the vet during the day, sadly, her cat had to be put down on Tuesday night. It was so heartbreaking. Yesterday, I had to catch up on all the hours of work I missed on Tuesday.

Mike, your day sounds even crazier! But in the end, it's just one day, and you have been doing great!

THURSDAY CHECK-IN

Hi Everyone!

Sigh. There's a lot more red in my goal update than I would like. I have to make checking in here a PRIORITY every morning! I really believe this is a valuable tool to stay motivated. I know because it worked for me in the past. Staying accountable is so important! Thank you, group for being here too. I've got to be better about checking in, and setting my goals in the morning and then really working at them throughout the day.

Kathy, you are killing it! What kind of intermittent fasting do you do? I am curious about it. Does it work for you?
Mike, way to go on your water and alcohol goals. If you average your step total, you are achieving 6,000 per day.
Tori, hope you're doing good!

1. LOG FOOD EVERYDAY: YES/ YES/ YES
2. NO SWEETS 6X: YES/ YES/ YES
3. 1200-1400 CALORIES PER DAY: 1450/ 998/ 1130
4. GYM/EXERCISE 4X: YES/ NO/ NO
5. WALK 10,000 STEPS/DAY: 6710/ 13,645/ 5180

Good job on your goals! seems like your calories are just barely outside your window. Not bad at all. Keep it up. Thanks, having you on my fitbit is holding me accountable. When my work load lights up (should be soon), I'm going to increase my step goal back up.

I'm not sure if I hit my water goal for the day. I don't remember if I had five or six 16.9 oz bottles of water.
1) 100 water per day yes, yes, ?
2) Average 6k steps per day 7302, 5497, 7260
3) No alcohol none, none, none

The intermittent fasting is working out well. I'm a lot more relaxed about food and meals because there is a stretch of time (9 p.m. to 1 p.m.) in which I can't think about food at all. Added another leg exercise to the PT. Water? It's just annoying!

Rosa, your friend was lucky to have you there when her cat was euthanized. It is so hard to lose a pet.

So are you not eating between 9pm & 1pm?

1) 100 water per day yes, yes, ?, yes
2) Average 6k steps per day 7302, 5497, 7260, 4355
3) No alcohol none, none, none, none

I don't know what happened but the scale went up .2 this morning. I ate really well and drank plenty of water. I'm guessing it's a fluke. So far for the week I'm averaging 6100 steps per day. I should be able to increase that over the next couple days.

Thank you Mike and Kathy for you kind words with regards to my friend's cat. He was only 8 years old and such a gorgeous, happy, friendly little guy. He will be missed terribly. My wife and I have been checking in on our friend every day. She is obviously very sad. I'm going to cook her dinner on Sunday evening. She definitely hasn't been cooking these days.
