Hi Mike. I haven't been posting or doing much else. I can't shake this cold so I am resting a lot. I had a bad binge last night, grilled cheese sandwiches and a chocolate bar after midnight. Eating healthy and drinking lots of hot tea today. You have good goals for the week Mike. When I am feeling better I will post more. I hope to weigh in on Friday.

So, I will admit it. I am the ultimate lurker. I used to post years ago (2010) when I was working on losing 50 pounds, and I just drop by now and again to see how people are doing. I've been mostly successful at maintenance since then, but I do fluctuate in a 10-15 pound range. I'm at the higher end of that range right now, so I might as well join in for the accountability. I have a week long hiking trip in the Grand Canyon in mid-April that I need to get in shape for, so it's a good time to be here. Here are my goals:
1) Calories: under 1400
2) Log food daily (I use MFP because it syncs with my Fitbit and I just like it better)
3) 10,000 steps daily
4) Set up a strength training program
I think I will go join the Easter Challenge, too. Be healthy today, everyone!

I recently got a fitbit and it's been helping me get out the house and get moving. I've been doing step challenges on there as well. If you want to link up on there just let me know and I'll send you my email address (unless there is an easier way). I'm still new with it.
I'd imagine if it's a big hiking trip, the better your conditioning, the easier it will be. Nice goals!

Sure, Mike. Send me your info, and we can link up on the FitBit site. I'm also on there as Zootnarf, if you can find me that way. Heading out for a walk at lunch, so my numbers will look much better after that!
