Motivation and Support - 8/15 - 8/31
How is every one doing? I am on day 3 of my 8 week diet and so far all is going well. I have to keep reminding my self to fill up on vegetables and some protein and skip the starchy white foods. My calories are under 1000
and I am not hungry. I have to get use to drinking more water. Another day is over.

I will weight myself tomorrow and commit to drop 1 pound by Monday morning.
It's been so hectic here. Louisiana has had historical flooding. Many parts are totally destroyed. Fortunately we were spared the wrath but I'm an insurance agent. Been super hectic. Today I'm going to try to take a break and get some work around me the house done.

So glad that you were spared from the flooding. We have had heavy rain but no damage in our area except for intermittent power failures. I am keeping my self busy working on another quilt. It keeps my mind off of food. My weight was 166.8 today so my 8 week challenge is going well.

I am keeping my calories very low today by eating mostly raw vegetables and drinking water. I am going to do this one day each week. My first week will be up on Monday and so far I am losing weight every day. I hope to be in the 150's by Sept. first. Tomorrow is Monday weigh in. Have a good week end.

My weight is up from yesterday because of too much salt in last nights supper. I will have to watch that and drink more water. Over all I am down 3.4 pounds from last week. Mike how are you doing and where is every one else? Lily lost weight on Friday's weigh in. Good job.

Hi all. Even though I kept my calories low yesterday it did not make a difference on the scale this morning. Calories under 700. I will try for
similar results today with hopefully a better outcome. And water, water, water. Mike, where you at?

Yesterday my calories were just under 1000 and my weight is down today.
I hope my weight won't be back up tomorrow from the calories yesterday.
Dr Oz had an interesting show on yesterday where three ladies lost half there body weight and they showed what they are eating now. It was very enlightening. I recorded the show so I can watch it again. Have a good day all.

I was away helping my sister and was so tired when I got home. I was also very hungry and had a binge evening. My weight is up but I expect it will be even higher tomorrow just in time for Friday weigh in. I will try to do better on the week end.

It's Thursday and I am watching the rain coming down in buckets. We had a power failure earlier but it didn't last long. Last nights binge was a bad one and I didn't sleep well. I am back on track today and I hope to have a loss on the scale tomorrow.
