It's the weekend...the time where many people struggle to stay on track. Monday is only two short days away! Just wanted to encourage all the challengers (including myself!) to stay on track this weekend!

While today's weigh in looks like a gain, I'm actually down 2 lbs. from Friday's weigh in which I'm very happy with! I actually got through a weekend and stayed on track! Not only that, I even went to a restaurant yesterday so I had an unusual amount of sodium so I kind of expected a slight gain. I'm confident that next week I will see a loss from today's weight

Debbie, great job staying on track over the weekend, including a restaurant. Keep up this level of positivity and dedication and you will definitely see drops each Friday/Monday!

I'm avoiding the scale this morning. I always weigh less in the afternoon, and I need every ounce off I can get.

Speaking of weighing less in the afternoon...why is that? Shouldn't I weigh less when I get out of bed after not eating anything? The only thing I can think of is that I "puff up" or retain water while I sleep? Is that possible? Any ideas anyone? Just curious as to why this is for me.

I was glad to see a new number on the scale this morning. I was up to the bathroom several times last night and hoped that I would have a good weigh in in the morning.

Default I did it!

So glad to see I'm down 2 Was a little nervous because of the weekend. I stayed on top of it, but I did allow myself a bit of goodies. Saturday we went to Red lobster ( all you can eat shrimp) and did just that. and Sunday I made a lemon cake and had a nice size piece of that. it was good and I really enjoyed it. That's all the cheating I did all week. This week will be harder because its my 2nd week, I'll have to do better. my goals for the week are
Food journal- exercising 5 days at least 30 minutes - 64 oz. water -3 vegetables & 2 fruits - 2 sweets this week ( one for Halloween) - keep my calories under 1500.I will try not to think about food.( the more I think about it the more its on my mind)
I will have my husband hide the left over candy. or give it away.

Wishing you all a great & successful day. Relax, love yourself !

Oct 19 =169.0
Oct 26= 167.2

Lisa - Thank you for your encouragement and thank you for checking in on me this weekend! Your support has been so helpful in keeping me focused on my goals! As for you weighing less in the afternoon rather than the morning...hmmm that is interesting. I think you have mentioned before that you don't eat much during the day, but enjoy having a larger dinner. Am I right? If so, that could explain why the scale is down in the afternoon? Just a guess!

Libby - You've been consistently losing week after week for month's now!! I keep finding the weight you're losing! Keep this up and you will most certainly hit your goals by your goal dates!!

Linda - Good job this week!

I'm up .4 from Friday's weigh-in, but that's a complete win for me since I had take out as well as pizza. And I'm way down from last Monday. I'm excited that I'm actually succeeding. Reaching my goal will be very tough...2 lbs/week until Jan. 4th. Over the holidays? hmmm. We'll see. I'm going to do my best!!!

I feel as if I am taking baby steps with my half pound loses from week to week but any thing is better than a plateau. Years ago I went from my highest weight then of 181 to 165 and was stuck for 12 weeks. After that I gave up again but not this time. Keep the optimism going every one.
