Default Water Fasting Support

Hello,

Not sure if this is the right place to post, apologies if not. I am starting a 10 day water fast tomorrow (30/01) and it would be great to have support/motivation from anyone else who has experience with fasting for 7+ days or anyone who is currently fasting. I have fasted many times in the past and am doing this for health reasons, not for weight loss, so no crash-diet-types... thanks!

Oi, wow, you are brave. I have done a juice fast, and even that was intense, so water would be even harder. I'm not sure I think of it as healthy; I understand a short fast for health, like 1 day to 3 days, however a week seems like a lot!

I would just suggest booking the time off of work or school, as you will need to rest a lot. Take it super easy. Plan to read and relax and not over exert yourself. On my juice fast, I had to spend about 3 days on the couch as I felt so tired and headachey.
