Had a total loss of 13 lbs for September. Today is a new month. Goals for October...
1) Get down to at least 330 lbs
2) Get BMI down to 49.0 (which the BMI went down as fast as the weight can!)

I was reading through my posts when I was hopeful. I am getting that hope back and working through the pain. I have to improve my posture and move more. Lets all do well in October.

This morning I had a 'bummed out' moment: I weighed and didn't see the number I was hoping to see--I did lose but not as much as I wanted to lose. Negativity began to creep in and I had to do a 'reality check'. In the last 2 months I have lost 32 pounds, but I wanted to lose 35--why, I don't know, other than I just wanted that number. I had to remind myself that I didn't gain my weight overnight and I wasn't going to lose it overnight either. This is not 'The Biggest Loser', it's not a race, it's LIFE and it is, what it is! That being said, Sunday night I was able to remove my rings, which I hadn't been able to do in over 5 years! Today I can only remove one of them, so now I know edema and peri-menopause are a factor in my not seeing the number I desired.
Today is a new day with opportunities for growth, love and acceptance and I will take each one of them as they come. I will stay true to my food guidelines, exercise plans and other goals I have set. I will let the weight leave my body as it will and I will take steps needed to be active, healthy and productive. Vicki
