Considering I was up to almost 137 this week, I am happy. I usually lose weight in winter but lately I feel like I am storing food for the winter. I wonder if it is because it is so cold that I've been eating so much. Anyway, I am determined to lose 2 pounds this week, despite Super Bowl party I am hosting and possible poker game, two big food times. I am a social eater. But I have to eat for one - me.

Up 1 pound this week....freakin' PMS...that's all I gotta say about that! :mad: I ate well and did all my planned workouts, so I'm sure I'll see the water weight come off next week. I will not let this get me down! ;)

Hope - Congrats on you .5 lb loss this week. I would love to lose 2 pounds this week as well!

I feel like I am treading water this past week and not going any where. I guess I shouldn't complain because I was 173 on Jan 1st and today I am 168.1. That's 5 pounds I have lost this month. Whoo Hoo. Let's see what tomorrow brings.

I was really wondering if there would be any change since my previous weigh in was actually done on Monday of this week. I am pleased to report that I lost 1 lb. I really do think drinking more water has helped with my progress so far.

I was down to 133.5 THIS WEEK and then sushi and subsequent binge eating undid me. Being homebound due to snow undid me. Well ya know what? I am fighting back. I will not give in. I am planning my meals and STICKING to it. I WILL be less fluffy. By next week's weigh in, I will be down two pounds. Just watch.

I was not feeling well this week and went off my diet and did not exercise.
I was sleeping a lot because when I got up I was dizzy. Today I am feeling a bit better. My weight is up and I can feel it in the way my clothes fit.
Not a good week.:(

I've had a very bad week and didn't get on the scale at all. I seriously considered not getting on the scale today, but weighing daily really keeps me focused. Back to daily weighing for me...no sense burying my head in the sand!

It's been a rough week all around I see. I'm sorry to hear a couple of you have also been going through some tough times. I suppose it's the winter bug for the most part. I got my period this week and that is always really painful and crampy for me the first couple of days. I couldn't excercise on Wednesday or Thursday, so I was not looking forward to weighing myself this a.m. Surprisingly, after all the water weight gain and other yuck going on-- I actually still lost a pound. Wonders never cease, eh? There were a couple of seconds when the scale hovered over 199.9, but it finally rested on 200.0. I hope to break the 200 mark by next week.
Next week will be better for us all- I am sure of it!!!

I have been feeling sick ever since I got the flu shot. I just want comfort food and don't have the energy to exercise. My weight is up to 173.5 :eek:

Libby - Sorry to hear you've had such a tough week. Here's to a new week! ;)

Aimee - Congrats on getting under the 200 lb. mark!!! You should be very proud of yourself! The only reason I lost 5 is because I shed the water weight I was carrying from last week...I'm usually doing well to lose 1/2 to 1 lbs. per week :)

Can't wait to hear how everyone else faired out this week!

I lost some of what I regained in the last few weeks. I just need to stick to plan and keep the momentum going.

Well I didn't make this an epic week like I had hoped, however it was not an epic loss either. I almost managed to maintain my weight from last week...only up .6 lbs.

I've been drinking a protein shake in the a.m. ( I don't really like to eat breakfast most days, and figured it was better after my workouts at the gym too). Also- I've just started taking a daily probiotic supplement and am curious to see if it improves my weight loss.

Things are going well today. I did two sessions of 42 min on the treadmill and
5 minutes of light weights. My calories are on track too. I want to lose another 3 pounds next week.
