I am sitting here posting eating fresh strawberries just picked out of the green house, also brought in 3 more tomatoes. Brother came over and the two us finnished papinting the shed. It is feeling and looking like fall. I have serveral trees on the place that have great fall color. I also did a little house cleaning before he got here.
rensterpuff I am lucky my family is supporting my effort. I can see where it would be hard if they did not support me. Maybe can sit down and have a talk with dh and see about making a few small changes. And by the way welcome to ediets. As far as how to join, you just did by posting. There are so really nice people on this thread. Nyda

I'm just glad that I don't have to cook the bird. I wouldn't be able to lift it in and out of the oven. He is going to have a very sore back for his foolishness.
He is insisting on stuffing it as well with leeks, celery, mushrooms, bread, and other things. I am cooking glazed carrots with ginger, mashed potatoes with garlic, cauliflower with cheese sauce and a boston lettuce salad and cucumber and baby tomato salad. I can't cook any thing requiring the use of the oven. My new table cloth and runner look so nice on the dining table. Next year I am going to quilt a new banner for the hall.
My diet has gone out the window lately. I am munching on cheese in the evening which is not good. After Thanks giving I will get back on track and get back to quilting. I hope you have all had a good week.

I gave the beagle a bath and took her for a walk to get her dry. Besides house work that is all the exercise I got this week.

My appointment went well this morning. I wasn't aware that they get reports from my kidney specialist. It's my health so I felt like I should have been told that. Food diary was pretty good. I was able to ask questions. I mentioned that i don't have too much motivation lately and there is a group session but I don't think that's for me. It's up to me to eat better and exercise.

Yesterday was another poor nutrition day, but it is written down in all it's ugliness so I am owning it. I think I have to go cold turkey on the soda, I don't think I can be moderate with it plus it brings a lot of friends to the party (candy, chips, etc.)

My goal from right now is no more soda.

hello all. I spent 3.5 hours today papinting doors and trim. I have the hall way done except I need to paint the other side tomorrow of the mud room door. All I really have left is the dinning room and living room. With 3 big windows and 1 door.
I have been doing okay today with the diet. So far so good. It is not a bad day outside today. I was able to leave the door open and air out the paint smell. More latter. Nyda
