Good choice! I also like avocado. I think this article will be interesting for you. I used to eat avocado too often because I thought it can replace any junk snack, but it appeared it can cause weight gain as it's heigh on calories. So my favorite fruit is apple.

Hey,

I must have to say you're doing pretty good. Eating fruits such as apples, oranges, pomegranate can boost your blood circulation and improve your digestive system on daily basis. It increase hemoglobin in body and always leads to betterment of gut health. It also ease the bowel movement and maintain the water proportion in your body.

About exercising and losing weight, It's a necessity to have proper energy and natural sugar in body to boost metabolism. Fruits exactly do what I said early, so indirectly it helps you in boosting your metabolism and keep you energized through the day. However, eat in moderation.
