I have started adding a 1/4 of an avocado per smoothie for good fat which helps my brain tick along and keeps me satiated. I am having 2-3 smoothies per day along with eating a balanced diet and losing at a nice steady manageable rate

One of my go-to recipes that has a reduced proportion of fruit is -
1/4 cup cashews
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
2 dates
3 cups spinach
1 banana
1 cup blueberries
Add water to create preferred consistency (usually 1-2 cups)

One day in the grocery store I found this powdered peanut butter. It is basically what's left if you press all the oil out of the peanut butter. Anyway, it is really easy to add to a smoothy and much lower in fat than actual peanut butter. Try spinach or kale, chocolate almond milk, a banana and some powdered peanut butter for an awesome treat. It is a treat because the chocolate almond milk has quite a bit of sugar. I guess you could use unsweetened almond milk and cocoa powder instead.
