This was a couple things that came up when I searched.

The University of Georgia reported in the Journal of Nutrition that one of the benefits of fish oil is its ability to prevent pre-fat cells from converting to fat cells in the body by effectively causing them to die, thus reducing overall accumulation of fat.

Additionally, scientists in Australia discovered that fat loss benefits of fish oil combined with diet and exercise were significantly greater than diet and exercise alone.

A recent study in Japan demonstrated that mice who experienced the benefits of fish oil had faster metabolisms and gained less weight in the first place than mice who did not experience the benefits of fish oil (these researchers believe the same benefits of fish oil should hold true for humans, too).

Fish oil is very beneficial for health. It not only controls the cholesterol level and keep heart healthy but also reduces extra weight. It burns the fat more quickly and keep the weight within a limit. It also very effective nutrition for removing the joint and muscles pain. You should use fish oil in pure form or you can also use omega3.

Personally I use fish oil to help control my cholesterol, but it has indeed helped in my weight loss as well.

Default FishOil

I have also been taking fishoil, for its omega3 benefit.

However, i noticed that everytime i take it, i'm having joint aches?!?

I don't know if its because of the fishoil or something else. I will still need to make an appointment with the doctor to ask her about this.

does anybody experience this also?

Omega 3 itself is very healthy. Even without the diet/weight loss purposes ...
