I am addicted to potato chips. If they are in the house I'll eat them.
The easy answer is don't buy them, but I don't live alone. The wife
says she should not be forced to give up chips just because I have a problem
with them. She does not have a weight problem. How can I break this addiction?
Yes this is much more than a bad habit.
Lard.

The salt is on the shell, so when you get the edame it's a nice blend of crunch and a good salt.
Good luck!

Good for you lardpuppy/centerx!
Are you going to tell us how you beat the chip addiction?
I agree. I love edamame!

Have discovered edame in the shell, frozen section. . .with sea salt. Picksweet used to make it in a small box, but the bag can be steamed. . .I measure it out then use a microwave Tupperware.

I have gone to Pop Chips which are fewer calories. If you have to buy them yourself, do so and tell your wife that these are for you and not her. She will probably start eating your chips since they taste really great.

Kudos to you for avoiding chips for so long! Even though salty things are not typically one of my cravings, I have discovered Special K Cracker Chips. They come in potato chip flavors and taste similar to Pringles or baked chips, they have only 110 calories and 2.5 grams fat for 27 chips. And, best of all for me, not only do they taste good, they make me fill full!
