Trader Joe's has the least expensive nut butters around where I live. Almond butter is a little under $5.00 and the only ingredient is almonds.

The sunflower seed butter is a dollar cheaper and I like it more than the almond butter, but it has a little bit a sugar in it, like 1 gram more than almond butter.

I don't know how things have sugar in them if there is no sugar on the ingredient list. I thought it would just be considered carbs? Anyone know the answer to that q?

I enjoy peanut butter too but I think it has more saturated fats (or something..can't remember off hand) so I have started buying other nut butters instead.

We eat Skippy Natural PB, however, you gotta read the labels for the hidden hydrogenated oils when shopping for PB.

Smuckers Natural PB. It's about $2.50-$3.50 depending on what store you go to. All that is in it is peanuts and 1% or less of salt. It's great

Once you get used to fresh ground peanut butter, nothing else will do. Just pure peanuts. I'm not sure if they are salted at all before they are ground, but it doesn't taste too salty, like many supposedly 'natural' peanut butters.

I love Naturally More brand, I get it at Sams club. It has Omega 3 with flax seed.

It's a little gritty but I think that's what makes it sooo good!

I like this too but the chunky kind. I don't miss the refined sugar and love the taste. Bonus with the flaxseed too.
