Iceberg lettuce with shredded carrots & red cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, 1oz sharp cheddar cheese, a sprinkle of low fat mozzarella, mild pepper rings, bread & butter pickles, croutons & fat free Ken's Italian (or Ranch) dressing.

That's a mighty fine looking salad you got there!

I'm having a sandwich today. I am carefully adding carbs so I have a Deli Flats 100 calorie wheat roll, 3 slices deli turkey, a pile of romaine lettuce and a fancy little honey mustard (no mayo/cream) that I whipped up.

I also found the most rightous pretzles that look and taste like tiny little everything bagels.

I have a little sack of carrots and grape tomatoes and a cookie. 1 Oreo. One.

Wow!

I just logged all my food that I have eaten today. Nothing too bad but I just realized that I eat a lot --- I used to wonder why I always seem to be at a plateau .. now I kind of know. Yikes! Again all pretty healthy .. banana, 1 TBS peanut butter, grapes, lite bread, lite cheese, almonds, deli-ham .. and one portuguese roll. Now I have to be REALLY good tonight ... lean steak - 4 oz on some salad greeens. Boy those calories REALLY can add up.

My favorite, easy grocery store lunch: roasted chicken breast - skin removed and a pint sized tub of mixed berries. Water or propel to drink.

Breakfast on the deck: homemade chili-relleno quiche, fresh strawberries, a bucket of coffee.

The quiche uses a low-carb tortilla for the crust, and the filling uses part skim cheeses and lots of good veggies (chilis, onion, tomato), so very tasty and healthy.

Tried the new Wendy's berry almond chicken salad. It was okay, but I only ate one of the pkts of dressing. When I checked the nutrition info. when I got home I realized it would've been 1300 mg sodium if I'd eaten both pkts!

We are having breakfast for dinner, hubby is cooking, I am having one slice of back bacon and 2 fried eggs...it won't kill me but I could do better!

We did that, too, Meggietye...I made French toast from homemade whole-wheat, sunflower-seed, oat bread and served it with sliced bananas and strawberries.

We had dinner out at a churrascaria last night and no one wanted to face meat today :p
