Just finishing up my mid-morning snack. Today we have a cup of grapes and a nice orange.

For lunch, a bit of a treat--my favorite chicken/bacon/ranch wrap. 2oz of left over rotisserie chicken breast, 1oz of bacon ends and a tbsp of light FF ranch dressing in a Flat Out Italian wrap--yum! For dessert I have a light blueberry yogurt.

That puts me at 800 cal for the day and 700 left for this evening.

Eat well, everyone!

Regards,
Michael

I have been eating lots of leftovers lately...

Today it was 10 small leftover grilled shrimp from last night's dinner (I love shrimp SO much) with just a little bit of mexican seasoning, some strips of grilled bell pepper, and a serving of whole-grain brown rice in a FlatOut wrap. I find I don't need sauce with it as the seasoning on the shrimp is enough flavor, and the rice isn't dry yet. On the whole it's about a 350 cal lunch, and I'm so full that I don't even feel like I need a snack later! This along with breakfast puts me at about 600 cals on the day. 900 left for dinner/light dessert/workout snack!

I made a Ratatouille today, at about 154 cal a cup I can have 2 cups and an egg for dinner. Breakfast was my usual of yogurt/grapenuts/raisins. Lunch was just a can or saradines with 2 tbsp of relish as we ran out the door with big bottles of water. I am well inside my calories for the day so there is room for fruit before bed.

Default Just a tasty little reward for me

I weighed in today at 190. I have lost 62 lbs in the last 138 days so for breakfast today I diced up 4 oz of onion, 8 oz of Yukon gold potatoes and sauteed 'em up with rice wine, a little soy sauce, minced garlic, some Mrs. Dash, coarse black pepper, red pepper flakes, 4 egg whites, and one whole egg into a nice omelet that I split 50/50 with my son.

Mmmmmmm, it was a great tasting treat at about 250 calories! Yum!

I had a sweet treat today in a fruit salad with raspberry juice dressing..this is my version of pie or cake for an every once in a long while treat. For dinner I will have 1 cup of Ratatouille and between 1/1.5 cups of homemade salmon chowder with a tossed salad with balsamic vinegar and a 4 squirts of olive oil from my handy dandy olive oil dispenser.

Tried new recipes tonight: homemade ravioli and homemade cannoli. Both excellent and thank goodness for fat-free ricotta!!
