Double whammy! My trust in FitDay shaken!
1. I logged a new custom food this morning. (My routine breakfast.) I added that to my food log. Compared the nutrition tab to the values of my custom food. EVERY SINGLE VALUE HAD CHANGED! Every single one! Most had been undervalued. If you can’t explain this, please get the computer geeks up and running to straighten this out! 2. I tried to attach pics from ‘my device’ to show you. The menu guided me right to those pics. I clicked on both (food creation, and food log), and was greeted with a nasty invalid msg. (No way do you want to see the mess, I guess!) Happy to send them along in a regular email - give me an address if you want me to... |
I’m breathing a little slower...
Ref the msg above: the major nutrient record holds steady, it’s the micro-nutrients where the problem lies... still want a coherent explanation from you folks, tho... |
Here’s another example: looking (as I have for a long time...) for some nutrient value for sweet potato skins. Took values for sweet potato, baked, peel on and subtracted values for sweet potato, baked, peel off. Used the difference to equal the value for the skin alone, and made a custom food “baked sweet potato peels”... Next, added “custom food” to “peel off” items and checked nutrient values. They should equal “peel on” values, right? Again, the major nutrient values behaved correctly. And, AGAIN, the micro nutrients were completely messed up! Example: >>> peel ON: vitamin A supply is 439% of RDA. BUT: (439%) + (0%) : should be 439% unless my 1st grade math skills have deteriorated... >>> peel OFF + custom skin: vitamin A now yields a whopping 129% of RDA. WHOOPS! None of the values for the micro-nutrients came up as expected. Why does the system seem to mess this up so consistently? |

Thanks... will wait to hear what they have to say.. |
Tech team disbanded?
Still wondering if anyone has addressed this yet? Recently entered a new multi-vitamin as a custom food. Only micronutrients here... serving size, 1 tab nutrients per label added 1 tab to day’s food. Checked nutrients. All different! How are are we doing out there in FitDay land? |
