Question Track Sugar, My Recipe Nutritional Calculation

I am used to the FitDay and do not want to drop it. For my personal health issues I need more information and tools. Please help.
Please recommend the best way to continue using FitDay site for my everyday log and to track sugar at the same time?
And what do you recommend to create my own recipe and to do the nutritional calculation on it?

Fitday doesn't include sugar in the nutrients displayed for a food. This means it won't show up in standard foods and there's no place to enter it for custom foods.

Sugar's a carb, so it's going to show up included in your carb count. It won't show up separately in a fitday report.

Sorry!

The way I use fitday to take the values for a custom recipe is:
-go ahead a day or two (a blank log) by clicking on the right arrow above the food log that will advance the date.
-when you're in the blank log for that day, start putting the foods in for the recipe. When you get the total calories, protein, etc., go to the nutritional information for the 'day' but it will just be all the information for that one recipe.
You can take that information and use it by manually entering it to create your custom food that has the name of your homemade recipe. Create that custom food and you can use it in the future.

A lot of trouble, if you ask me, but it's an awkward task in most fitness websites I've seen. Ultimately, you have to add that food to your log so you can use it in the future.
