Caffeine
I drink diet soda. A lot of diet soda. I know I'm not getting any calories, or sugars, but since I switched from regular to diet, there is not an ounce of difference in my weight. I used to drink over 5k calories a week just in soda (6 or 7 2-liter bottles/week), so that is A LOT of calories to cut out of my week. But no change. Is the caffeine the culprit? Does caffeine have any affect on whether you lose weight or not? I don't know how it could, but I can't think of any other reason why cutting out so much in my diet would not have any change for me.
