Default BMI/Weight i

The BMI and weight index do not take into consideration body fat or body size. I am 6'5" currently weigh 278 and your scale says I should weigh under 210. I have a 22 % body fat and i am a avid weight lifter this weight 210 is unrealistic fo me

BMI is garbage. It's just an average for actuaries at insurance companies to use. Certainly not for weight lifters or any athletes.

Is everyone as sick of Jillian Michaels as I am?

BMI is useful for insurance actuaries and public health wonks. It has very little use for individuals, especially athletes.
