Thai food
I am going to be going out to eat at a thai restaurant on saturday and was wondering how the heck do I input the meal into Fitday. I tried to find some popular thai dishes and came up empty.
Can someone help how to track this? |
I try to dissect the meal and put each component in by hand such as Pad Thai:
1.5 cups noodles 1 cup shrimp, cooked 1/2 cup pea pods 1.5 T oil (assuming they use some which is almost always) |
You may have to enter a custom food for this. If the restaurant is part of a chain you can probably find nutrition information with a quick google search. I use calorieking.com a lot for foods that I can't find on FitDay.

Unless the restaurant is a large chain it will probably be impossible to find the nutrition facts. But you can get close. Just Google the dish you have, e.g., "nutrition facts pad thai." You will get results from many good nutrition data sites. Google is your friend.
