I was talking to a friend yesterday who said something about a post that I should look for. She gave me the forum that it was in, but I can't find it anywhere. I was wondering if things get discarded if the thread has been dormant for a certain length of time, and if there is any way to pull them back up

It was about staying on plan when deployed, and only having MREs. Haven't been able to find anything about MREs in my search...Do I have to write it out, or search some other way? My cousin is wondering how to stay on plan while he's deployed. Any advise would be helpful.

I think the search function on this site is poor...it really pulls up way more than needed and it's hard to narrow it down. It seems like it pulls up every thread sometimes. Maybe it's just the terms I'm using, but it does that for a lot of them.

Most sites won't pull up abbreviations or very small words. I just typed in "deployed" and 13 threads, including this one popped up.

I'm not sure which one she was talking about, but there was a lot of great information to pass on to my cousin. He'll be shipping out in the next few weeks, and needs all the encouragment he can get.
