Angry Food Database: How hard can it be?

I tried to be as specific as possible; this was the best I got (suggestion: YOU set the rules for how a food should be entered and we'll live with the results of the search, but this is pretty poor...)

Yeah, I don't get it. I don't see how they get coffee, etc. out of that search.

I guess one way to handle this is NOT to be so specific. I think just 'corn sweet' might have brought you to the group of items that fit that description.

Thanks, Kathy. Tried it, and here's what I got:

"Corn, sweet, white, frozen, kernels on cob, cooked, boiled, drained, without salt"

Which I can live with, but I really wanted to know if fresh corn was any more nutritious AND this was the 37th entry under "corn, sweet"... Wish it could be a little better (or differently) organized...**

I never use the search function just for this reason

I find the Food Browse option, in the end, to usually be way faster. It's a shame, Fitday has this awesome library of stuff, but the search is seriously screwy.

Thanks, Terri. Good tip and something I'll use from now on!
