Hi,
I've been using fitday since January with great results. However, I've been curious about the "lifestyle" part of activities. Does it include sleeping at night, or should I enter my hours of sleeping in the activities separately? Please let me know.
Thanks.

Welcome to FitDay and the forums!
The programmers tell us that Lifestyle takes sleep into account, but many of us add 8 hours of sleep to our daily activities to bring our daily calorie burn down a bit. With 8 hours of sleep added my actual average weekly loss corresponds quite well to what the FitDay math predicts. Of course, YMMV, as they say.
Regards,
Michael

Hi. I'm new to FitDay and would like to log my sleep time, but have a question. Since sleep goes from one day into the next (say 10:00 pm to 5:30 am) how is this entered as an activity?
Is this 2 hours on the first part of the sleep ... and then the remaining 5.5 hours on the beginning part of the next day?
Sorry if this sounds like a weird question ... just making sure I do it right. Want to get an accurate picture of my calorie intake/buring to make the most out of the site.
Thank you!!
Regards, StevieLyn
