sugar in custom foods

 should I be recording sugar as grams of alcohol in the custom food label??? or else there is no other way to monitor sugars

No, alcohol and sugar are different things. If you never drink alcohol or have it show up in foods, maybe you could use 'alcohol' as a way to mark sugar - just for your own tracking purposes. Fitday doesn't track sugar. But then, sugar would show up as alcohol in your pie chart. Sugar is a carbohydrate so it would show up in your carbohydrate portion, too. Sounds way too confusing to me! It wouldn't give you good information.

'Sugar alcohols' are in sugarless items like sugarless gum.

Any idea why Fitday doesn't track sugar? I've used Fitday for years, but am thinking of switching solely because of this.
