Advertising - banner ads
I've noticed lately some ads that I do not seem are appropriate for a Health and Fitness web site. I understand advertising is important, but top and bottom banners displaying mug-shots and a service to look up arrested people. Really?

Some ads are inappropriate, I agree. We had some folks a while back complaining about food ads that looked so good, they did not need to be on a health-related website.
With Premium membership, I can't see ads, so don't know what you all are seeing. If you can post a screenshot of ones that offend you, that would help the tech guys identify them and track them down.
P.S. erinanda, you are right, though; sometimes there will be ads that pop up on any site based on your surfing history. A few years ago I dressed as a gothic slut for Halloween and searched the internet looking for a bustier. The ads that showed up in the subsequent weeks were interesting, to say the least!

If you see an ad that you find objectionable in any way, including those food ads, please take a screen shot and post it for me, and I can block it. We can't pre-screen all the ads that run here, so sometimes a bad one slips through. Thank you!
