https://youtu.be/LVAlJFGqZ4c

If you are looking to put some muscle on your back muscles and really expand your lats then you most definitely at some point will be doing lat pull downs. Despite being a machine exercise there lots things that can go wrong in executing this exercise properly!

Small body adjustments make a world of difference in any exercise and a requirement for any lifter for proper muscle building! This tutorial will go over the technique i use that i have learned from other seasoned veterans to maximize your gains on the lat pull downs!

If you have your own input or would like to add something to the conversation you are more then welcomed to!

Should you do these before or after barbell movements? I feel like after because the barbell is harder but then i can't feel the lat pulldown as good

I have also found really relaxing the abdominal muscles can help to put the tension on the lats better.

Great video. I have found that I can target my lats a bit better if I do the single arm lat pulldown machine. That is what has really helped me out.
