Zumba

I was really surprised to find that zumba is not listed under the activities, and unlike the food section I couldn't figure out how to manually enter in my calories used.

Does anyone know how, or if it's listed under something else?

Just a guess: dancing.

I use aerobic, high impact, although I don't think it's sufficient. Only 377 calories burned in an hour? Not in my Zumba class!

I'm going into my second week of Zumba on my Wii. LOVE IT! Did it 3 times last week and just finished my 3rd time this week! Last night I decided to try a full class and it almost kicked my butt! I was able to keep up until the last 3 songs. It said I burned 730 calories!

Can any one tell me when I might start seeing some results and what those results would be? I can definitely tell my stamina has increased.
I have also been watching what I eat.

Any body want to share their Zumba routine? How often? How long? :)

Thank you for posting about Zumba on wii. Been thinking about getting it. I currently use Biggest Loser Game (alternating with Wii Fit).
Keep up the good work!

jjrud, I also do the Wii Fit every now and then. It helps me not "burn out" on Zumba. :)
My kids enjoy doing the Wii Fit as well so it makes it a "family thing".

Zumba combines the international and Latin music with an effective and enjoying workout system. Specific Zumba exercises are very good for weight loss. The sudden positions changes in Zumba burn more calories than ordinary exercise. But don't forget to get some training about this ..
I think it should come under "dancing for fitness".
