Default You call that walking?

Well, technically yes. I did move over a surface by taking steps with my feet at a pace slower than a run. Acutally I think it was slower than a 3 legged turtle but it did meet the definition of walking.

That was 60 days ago when simply going around the block was a physical challenge. I hoped it would get better and it did. There have been little milestones like the first time I made all around my neighborhood vs. the block or the first time I walked for an hour straight.

This morning was another milestone. It's been a long time since I felt this good about exercise. I walked for an hour and I walked hard and fast and I did so with the help of music set to specific beats per minute. It was great and just the spark of inspiration I needed.

I happen to have purchased the playlist I used from Itunes but I'm sure you know there are plenty of resources out there.

This really helped me and I'm actually looking forward to my walk in the morning. Maybe there is value in timed music for you as well.

Have a great day.

As long as you are in iTunes, take advantage of the free podcasts. Some of them are for runners/walker, some are motivational for weight loss. There are tons of them, they are free (the things you pay for like that on iTunes are, I think, audiobooks).

Thanks for the tip on the iTunes podcasts. There are some really good free playlists there. Can't wait to use them.
