Pam;
Thanks for the welcome back. Saw your race results in the running thread, Congratulations on 53:03!!! Don't kick yourself too hard. I think it is important to give your body a chance to recover, especially after an event like your race.

Intend on being at the gym again tonight. My 18 yr old son may even go with me.

I've been at the gym all week- except for Thurs., I went for 4 mile run after work.
There's a break in the weather today so I went for a 6 mile run and then I tried some steel head fishing- had a good run and no luck with the fish

At least someone is still being consistent! Too bad you didn't have more luck fishing.

Don't let Thanksgiving derail your progress. Be strong, but do indulge in small quantities!

Monday-
7 mile run after work and then went to the gym for about an hour. Worked out my lower and upper back and rear deltoids and I also hit my triceps.

I plan on another run after work and then the gym- it's leg day today.

Yes, it would have been nice to come home with fresh steelhead for the grill, but it was a nice day and you know what they say- "My worst day fishing beats my best day working" and I also plan on pigging out for Turkey day, cuz I can In 13 days I'll be running in first 26.2 race....

Default Happy Thanksgiving everyone

I hope everyone will take a moment to give thanks for all the good things life has given us this year. Yes, it has been tough at times, and frightening too, but all in all it is great to be alive and still kicking .

Have a wonderful day. Indulge a little, laugh a lot, and be grateful for the gifts that nature as provided for you.
