Yesterday- 5.75 mile run, then a 40 min gym session. after that I mowed my backyard and planted my garden- whew! Busy day!

Just came back from a 4.5 mile run at the state park. I walked a 1 mile after for a cool down

Ran 6.25 miles on Sunday and I also went kayaking on the river Sat & Sun, paddled just over 6 miles for both days, arms,back,shoulders and legs all feel it today

I have been walking around the lazy river at my pool every day. I saw water jogging on the fitness exercise log but not water walking. Does anyone know how many calories are burned by water walking 1 mile?

I don't know. Calories burned depends on weight, but for me, on land, jogging burns 6 cals/min and walking at a moderate pace burns 3. So walking burns 50% less cals than jogging. But I don't know if that same ratio would hold up in water.

Thanks, i guess i could use the water jogging and half it, that will at least give me a starting point.

9.9mile trail run on Saturday and 1:15 weight lifting session early Sunday morning, and lots of yardwork...
