Default Dip Station - Should I get one used or new?

Hi all,

I've been doing a lot more tricep dips and pull-ups lately so I'm thinking of getting a dip station for my home. I've been trying to decide between these but I think the Weider Power Tower has got my interest the most.

However, I've noticed there are a lot of used ones around on gumtree and ebay for cheap. My only concern is a used one might fall apart when I'm using it.

Is that a possibility? Do dip stations have a shelf life? Has anybody got experience using of a second-hand or even third-hand dip station/pull up bar?

What’s the price difference? I always feel more safe purchasing new products for equipment that’s a long term investment
