Carb Cycling
I have been doing a little bit of research on this recently and am fairly intrigued.
Has anyone every tried it? What did you think? |
If by carb cycling you mean adjusting daily carbs based on activity levels, then I've had pretty good results with that. I go by "food as fuel," so if I'm just going to be around the house I stay away from simple starches as best I can. If I'm going to be doing some heavy lifting I might add some rice or other starch.
What I don't do is follow some complex bodybuilding carb cycling protocol. They won't help at this point and they're controversial even at elite bodybuilding levels - so I would stay away from them and focus on the basics. Good luck. |
