Oh, I can't imagine not losing weight and eating only vegetables. How can that be?

Agree with this list. Specially love Spinach, Almonds, Broccoli and Cottage Cheese. Really great for the body. In fact, I let my kids eat more of this stuff, I make sure to incorporate them to our daily meals. Sure, they complain all the time, but they are getting used to these things. Cottage cheese, for instance, I love adding to my salads. I love that aside from weight loss, it helps strengthen my bones and improve blood circulation. It's got a lot of other benefits too (read here). On the other hand, almonds are my go-to snack nowadays, and they help with hunger pangs I get in the evenings, Great tips on this thread (although some are quite a bit old), but would appreciate if we keep this going for people who would really benefit from it.

Vegetarian food is good for weight loss. Non-vegetarian food contains high percentage of fats, which can lead to development of obesity.
