Man says one day of P90X sent him to the emergency room

I am in no way bashing P90X, I've done it, it works. Just putting this warning out there because this can probably happen with any intense routine.

Yeah, I've read about this being something to watch out for when starting strenuous routines. It's also something people have had trouble with when jumping into CrossFit too quickly, I've heard.

Good point Joanna. I'd imagine as popular as Crossfit is, a lo of people ma be affected by this.

Intensity is good and all but you should know your limit and stop or slow down before you hit it. Its hard to see people want to get into shape and then have something like this happen, which causes them to lose all motivation they may have had.
