What would be the best balance for fat, protein, and carbs to lose weight?

"Best" depends on what you can tolerate ...
For me, I do "best" on 75-100g protein, 100-150g fat, and ~50g carbs.

40% protein 40% carbs and 20 % fat mostly if you are working out.. Just make sure that they are healhty carbs
