Fourth of July Lose 10% of Your Body Weight Challenge
With April 1st come and gone, it's time for another Challenge. Just like last time we'll have a check-in thread and a discussion thread.
Post your starting info (I like to list starting weight, then pounds lost and percentage, but to each his/her own) then update as you like. To create your post, "Copy and Paste" the last thread and add/update your info. Let's keep the list in alpha order if we can.

To calculate percentage of body weight lost, you simply divide pounds lost by starting weight. Ex: 10 pounds lost, starting weigt of 185 equals .054 or rounded down, 5%.
Note, the 10% figure is just a suggestion and you're free to work towards any goal you like.
Regards,
Michael

Fourth of July 10% challenge
The Fourth of July is our thirtieth wedding anniversary. (yikes!) Another 10 percent would put me at around 185 which is about what I weighed at our wedding. I was an avid runner back then, not so much anymore. Not sure I can get back to that weight but it's worth a try. My lovely wife, of course, weighs exactly the same. Her weight never varies (except when she was pregnant). I am sure my wife has secretly disposed of my wedding suit despite my claims it would fit again. I guess that my second motivation to lose the weight so I can say "i told you so". Nothing like being married 30 years
