Hi everybody, I'm not going to weigh next couple of months, having surgery
today ( 2nd ) I will still be loggin in and checking on you guys.
So, don't delete me
I basically stayed the same this week; think I've been slipping on the discipline. I'm going to try to keep up with my log and get more out of my workouts . . . Good luck with the surgery, Becca, and welcome peachtrees.
Hello everyone! I'm glad to see this thread. I have noticed through a lifestyle change class that being accountable not only to what you eat but also weighing in helps keep me on track. I'm happy to report that in one year I was able to pass my doctors 7% weight goal. My goal for my second year is to once again pass another 7% goal that I have set for myself. My current weigh in as of today at 11:15am is 294.2 My goal is to reach 285.4 Like many I seem to lose very slow. Half a pound per week. I think I'm seeing a plateau since I haven't seen 288 on the scale since my last doctors appointment three months ago. Then again through out this whole journey my scale has ranged from 2 to 5 pounds in weighing more then the office scales. I'll check back in with everyone next week. Glad to have so many people behind me.

Hello everyone! Welcome Peach and LMB!. Hope to hear from you each and every week. And just fyi, as a practice when we weigh-in we just copy the most recent list and add our new information before re-posting. I have added you guys now.
I put on another couple of pounds...it's been a very stressful month and I have been on the road a fair amount. I have kept up on my cardio but not so much on the weight training. I leave today for a 2 week work trip, so I'll miss the next two weeks. I expect to sneak up another pound or 3 as I will be in Malaysia where the food is sooooo very good (but also reasonably sized and healthy). See everyone when I get back.
oh wow it's been almost a whole 2 months since i last updated my weight here.
quite a few things have happend since then. I had a trip, i quit my weight-loss program, because i couldn't afford it anymore and my contract was going to end soon, also seeing as it wasn't being as effective for me anymore as it was at the start.
I also started a job at Tim Hortons a month ago so i've been busy with that, gotta stay away from the muffins and donuts and breakfast sandwhiches haha.
The gym i joined also opened i've been going but not often enough i need to figrure out a goo time line so i can go 3 times a week.
this friday i'm probably going to refresh my weight loos chart seing a it's been a year since i started last time and it'll be a good refreasher to start over.
No good... my weight is 243.0lbs now... too much binging on cheap carbs and sugar... but I just joined Bally's Total Fitness... we'll see how that works out! Behlor
I was doing really well for about 6 months, fell off the wagon for 2 and gained some weight back. I'm getting back on track again and mad at myself that I have to re-lose the weight I just lost a couple months ago.
Don't beat yourself up... I was on a health kick for a while, and then temptation came back... but it's okay... just exercise, watch what you eat, and don't obsess over the scale -- that is, until next Friday Anyway, it's not about a quick fix, it's about a lifetime journey... Behlor
I diversified my exercise a lot this week. Instead of just doing the same cardio/weights routine in the gym with one day of yoga, I took a circuit training class, aqua aerobics (not challenging enough, but nice and cool), began taekwondo and am practicing yoga daily. This coming week, I will now have taekwondo 3X a week (kickboxing to follow on two of those days, if the instructor has his way) and will supplement that with my regular gym routine and daily yoga. A few months ago, one day of exercise would've been overwhelming, but working out is now the highlight of my day.
