Im very new to this. :)
Hi, Im new and just wondering if this sounds good. My pie chart shows 50% carbs, 26% protein, 24% fat. Is this in acceptable range? My calorie average per day is around 1375.
Edit: Im a 39 year old male. 6 feet tall 228lbs. Trying to lose at least 28 lbs.
Thanks.

B ased on a number of different sources, I try and stick to 40-30-30 (40% carbs, 30% protein, 30% fat), but I think the most important thing overall is a variety of foods, lots of vegetables and fruit, and overall calorie intake. Your calorie number seems pretty low for long-term success. If you can stick to it, you should be fine.

Your calorie intake will be hard to maintain. As another reader says...a 40-30-30 dispersion is best with carbs at 40. I would try to get it as evenly as possible. You may want to think about a 2000 calorie/day intake with 3 full meals and 2 snacks with your last meal at least 2-3 hours before you go to sleep. Stay with the routine. You should see results in about 6 weeks.
