Default How much will I lose?

Well, here I am.

I'm 50, am 5'-8" and weigh 260 lbs..... I was 292 lbs in Sept of 2009, had high blood pressure of 235/135. Went on meds for the blood pressure got that under control, and platuea'd for the last 3 months.

8 days ago made a bet with a couple buddies of who would lose 10 lbs 1st and won the bet, this morning -12.2 lbs!!!

So as I have said, 260 lbs today and want to lose 100 lbs to get to 160lbs of active muscle!

I joined in February weighing in at 150lbs. My current weight is 143lb (as of last weeks weigh in) and my goal is to reach 125lbs (-18lbs to lose). I am 5'1" 24 year old female.

Started getting serious in Nov. @ 227 lbs.

Goal is 170 lbs by the end of may. I am currently at 180 lbs.

31 YO male; 6ft tall....

I used to be 420, now down to 283 as of 4/1 weighing in again today. I want to get down to 150 (the highest weight in my normal range). I am 5'5" (used to be 5'7" but I've lost 2 inches due to the weight). Been on FitDay for 4 weeks and in the first 3 weeks I've lost 23 pounds. I want to lose another 50 before my 30th birthday in July.

I am 33 Female and I am 250.5, 5'6 wanting despretly to get to 140 as soon as possible. I know though that it has to go slowly. I am also scared of having extra skin from losing so much weight.

I get frustrated because I do not know how to count calories very well unless I want to eat from boxes all the time. I workout 5 days a week on my lunch for 45 mins each and have not lost weight on the scales but it does show in my clothes since I am now wearing jeans I could not before. I really need to see it on the scales though. I am tired of being the fat one all the time and need to change.

kgrubbs I am just about the same - I am 172.5 as of last friday on the doctor's scale and DESPERATELY want to be 137 by July. I'm making it happen with low carb, moderate cals and daily exercise (getting way better at that)....

Starting Weight: 180lbs

Hi, my name is Farah,female, i'm only 5', joined April 19th and has lost 5.8 lbs so far. my goal is to reach 125, which is mid range healthy weight for my height. please do keep me accountable to do this. oh, forgot to say, i'm currently @ 148 lbs 23 more lbs to go.

Chris, Honey, you'll be ok, just don't give up! we'll get there, someday!
i have been working on my Carb/ Fat/ Protein Ratio, trying to keep the carb as low as i can, but the best i've done with carbs is keeping it around 35 to 40%, also trying to raise the protein level higher to around 35-40% as well.
what is your strategy?
