well, i again had a failing week. I weighed in this morning at 197 which is the highest i've been in awhile. Seeing it near that 200 mark was frightening.... I really did work out last week- 4 times but sadly the parties got the best of me.

here's to another week..

Hey old friends and newly dedicated ones. I completely fell out of my routine since this new challenge began. I'm not really sure what happened. It's all a blur.

I think the longer I went without logging the harder it was for me to come and face my profile. I lost all my momentum, and I'm sure a lot of progress. I've been unable to face this place for some reason that must be related to old well-warn patterns.

It hit me last night that I'm not gonna regain control without committing again. It also hit me that this is the most helpful and supportive place I've ever known. Duh!!

So I'm back, trying to resist the urge to beat myself up, looking to rejoin this great community. I browsed the check-in thread and congrats to all of you on your great progress.

I'm gonna call it a new day 1 and try to spend the rest of this challenge trying to get back to where I was when this one started, and have some momentum going into the next one.

Keep up the good work everyone. I hope I can steal some energy from your good examples and get it back together.

Matt

Hello all,
I am a little late with my check in, good news it is going steady.

Michael, are you back from camp... that tequila sounded very dangerous

Kaitlin, it IS a new week, so keep working at it and you will see results.

Matt, glad to have you back, you can surely use the rest of the challenge to recover. Sending you some energy!

Cheers,

Yup, I'm back, and yup, I put away quite a lot of cactus juice. Even with the libations I tried to keep my intake somewhere around my burn--around 3K. Still, I'm not going near the scale until next week.

Regards,
Michael

Matt, good to see you back.

Now, let's get this thing rebooted and into top gear! Keep us posted as to how you're doing. And remember, there's no need to be "perfect" on this journey and that a slip DOES NOT mean we should throw in the towel and eat everything in sight (which I have done in days gone by).

Regards,
Michael

Thanks for the support everyone.

Weighed in at 194.2 this morning which is easier on the eyes than monday's 197.

It feels good to see results because I have been trying- working out and staying at 1500 cals or below!

Default 30 Day Left!

So, we're 2/3rds of the way into the challenge. Collectively we've lost 294 pounds so far!

Some have already made the 10% goal, some have surpassed it and some of us (myself included) still have a ways to go.

Let's all have a great June and step into July another few pounds lighter!

Regards,
Michael

Weighed in this week at 194.6 down a few from the 197 from last week....hopefully it will keep going down. I am going away this weekend- which is a trigger for me (birthday/anniversdary getaway).
