Thumbs up Fasted aerobic! my point of view

Hi guys here. I'm new here
Two years ago I have lost rapidly my body fat when i trained on a empty stomach. I think that fasted aerobic is the most effective way loose weight according to my several tries and failure.
In one month I have lost roughly 4 inch in my midsection, knowing that my goal was not to lose weight but to have muscle and lose belly fat in the same time.
I failed to reach my goal ( gain muscle and lose belly fat) but I have learned that fasted aerobic is a very powerful tool to loose weight.
It was a moment I was like losing 0.33 inch per day of my waist and I did not lose water or glycogen, because my weight increased slightly due to my weigh training.
Sorry to bother guys, I just wanted to share this experience and those results may be some of you here are willing to lose fat.

Thumbs up

I have not done any measurements recently but I would have to agree with you, early last week started doing Zumba first thing every morning before breakfast and even though the scale is showing minimum, my jeans are very loose, I haven't felt those results until the fast cardio on an empty stomach. So good for you and me!! Keep it up

Default Not for Diabetics

Diabetics must not consider this. Sugar levels would dip too low.

Default exercise/fasting

I used to appall my coach when I would show up and workout 1.5 hours at 6am with no breakfast.... eating that early always made my stomach churn... so I just did what seemed obvious, I cut it out and ate afterwards... I was a competitive figure skater then...

Another side note is I noticed that others that ate before training seemed to be (how can I put this dellically?) fatter, the girls in their thighs and the guys in there stomachs.... Those of us that ate afterwards seemed to be thinner.

Just an observation....

I was not a competitive skater like you, and was not in good fitness level either but I must tell you that I would jog medium to high speed for about 55 min, then 70 min to 90 min bodybuilding followed by 60 min of walking ! and it would take me 70 min to get home and eat the first meal !
I repeated this three times a week when I was jobless.
I never felt weak never !

i have also exercised before eating. i notice that i dont feel weak or lightheaded in the morning, but i do tend to get lightheaded if i try this later in the day.

I think its because when you exercise first thing in the morning, your body has had all night to switch over to burning your glucose reserves instead of looking for that direct food source.

I seem to be better able to exercise on an empty stomach, but I never really thought of it as an additional way to lose weight.

I agree with you on "fasting aerobics". The body must use fat in order to supply the energy needed for the aerobics, also the more muscle on the body, the more energy required. My son is a fitness specialist. He says your method is the best one to follow to burn off fat. Also, before exercising, he says to take an asprine with a cup of cofee..speeds the metabolism even more. Exercising at night will prevent you sleeping so mornings are better...also your metabolism is hyped for 8 hours after you work out.
