some lose 100 once some lose the same 10pds a hundred times
Hi,
Hey just looking for tips. been doing low carb for a month 60-90g protien, 50 ( good fats) g fat and trying to keep under 20 carbs...big struggle to stick too and keep calories below 100o..also cut out drinking any wine/alcohol during the week. I work out 4 times week for 90 mins very stenuous form of hot yoga ( makes everybody else skinny but me). So have lost grand total of 2 pds and it could come back in a day. have done the low carb diet before lost about 8 pds but it took almost 3 months and then crept back on over 2yrs. I do have thyroid condition but am on on thyroxin so levels are supposedly fine. Frustrated when charts has me well below calories required...Thinking of switching to 20% fat, 30% good carbs, 50 % protein and keeping to just under a 1000 calories. I am 46 and otherwise healthy just want to be more comfortable in my clothes again and don't want the weight to crept up in middle age like it did for mom! |
I find balance is really the way to go for long term achievement, low carb high protien is good for a kick start but it is not sustainable therefore results won't last forever either. Make sure balance carb~protien~healthy fats and plenty of cardio and strength training
