I have Crohn's disease and have, in the past, been on prednisone treatments. I blew up like a balloon. the way I handled it was this, I drank lots of water, walked a lot altho I had tiny children so it was difficult. Now if I have a flare up I max out on my meds and drink about 8 Ensures a day and lots of chicken broth...then after the flare up I have neither of those things until the next flare up. I wish I had better help for you. Is it prednisone you are on?
