Just so you know, you can gain anything between 0 - 6 pounds before your period. Its all water weight. And since everyone's body is different, there is a very good possibility that you have 2 extra pounds above average of water weight. The best times to weight yourself is after your period starts, or when it isn't even close. The only way to counter that is if you drink extra water, and eat less sodium. Even then you might still have some water retention gaincaused from PMS.
So yea, maybe listen to your husband when its around that time of the month, or at least think of that number as your "
PMS WEIGHT" because the scale won't be accurate to how much you actually weigh anyways.
