I think I'll join this forum for motivation. Holy Clay your doing awesome!!!! I'm going to try to check in every week. It will be different days because I work shift work.

January 16th 2013 - 278lbs next goal 270 babysteps. Big goal 212 lbs by July 27th. My daughters wedding day I need to look smokin hot in a dress and get my healthy life back. I miss the healthy lifestyle and not being out of breath.

I started Isagenix. A program I can actually makes me feel full and energized. I'm on my way down the scales.

This is basically my first day here. I was just put on insulin a few days back, I'm doing pretty good now. My sugar was off the charts. I had to take steroids for my bronchitis(I have emphysema and will get pnemonia quickly) I just need some encouragement and someone to talk to. I do have 50#'s to lose. This diabetes has given me quite a few infections of late and I must keep my sugar in line. I'm killing myself with food! Suicide by food. The time to start losing weight is now.

Michael,

You've lost a lot of weight! I am actually trying to gain 100 pounds so I can be on the Biggest Loser. Do you have any hints for how NOT to lose weight? I just can't keep the pounds off but I want to gain weight fast!

Please someone help me!

Cool

Hi everyone! I'm a 24 year old female. I weight about 277lbs. I haven't purchased a scale yet, but will be doing so very soon. I went to the doctor about 2-3 months ago and was weighed. I also retain fluid terribly, but have been taking HCTZ (bp medication that is also a diuretic) since then. I'm sure that'll make at least a slight difference in the number on the scale. I'm at the very beginning of my weightloss journey. I've tried to lose weight waaaay too many times. I'm ready to stop trying and actually obtain longterm success. My goal weight is somewhere between 148-170 pounds. I am a half inch away from being 5'10. I suffer from PCOS, (polycystic ovary syndrome) which makes weightloss an even bigger challenge for me. I have a long walk ahead of me (no pun intended) but I've got myself a new pair of shoes. Lets do this!

Default I'm back after 3 years.

Hi Everyone,

I'm not sure if anyone is still here who would remember me from 2011, but my username used to be 'Misery16226'. I was 19 at that time. The group of people that were here were very supportive of me and inspired me a lot, but I was struggling with a lot of things and it was hard(impossible) for me to even take care of my basic needs. I only managed to lose 12lb before I pretty much dropped out of society altogether and went back to not caring about my weight, my health or about improvement at all. I wasn't ready.

I'm back and I'm 21 now, I gained that 12lbs back with a little interest over the past 3 years, but I'm stronger now, and I'm more ready to take on life in general. I've been seeing a psychiatrist and a Independent Living Worker (she basically helps me pursue my goals, keeps me in touch with resources etc. She's been a great help for me!) My financial situation is better and I've gotten most aspects of my life under control.

I've changed my account(name) for a few reasons. Mainly i didn't like my username 'Misery' and I didn't like myself at that time either. So I have named my account after something I love instead, a cute funny cat from the anime Chi's Sweet Home.

I look forward to being a part of this community again.

Hi Misery, I do remember you and I am glad to see you back. I remember thinking the same thing about your name and it is wonderful that you changed it . Hope to see you on the boards and let us know how we can help!
