Default thanks

Thanks for that extra link, Michael. I didn't have time to go way into his stuff this morning, crazy day today.

IF you lose like those guys on biggest loser, you may have been 450, 475 no telling. Did you know you can use two scales and combine the two weights? I learned that from the HealthStewards guy... what's his name, Dr. Nick. Lost hundreds of pounds on a liquid diet.

I would love to do Tai Chi!! One of the strangest things I've noticed since I put on this last 25 pounds (besides knees on fire, hips creaking, and a complete lack of stamina) is that I've lost my balance. I sort of careen through the world, crashing into things, onto things. I used to experience the same thing when I lost a lot of weight fairly quickly. Weird stuff. I've lost my center of gravity or something.

Hi Michael,
I am returning because I am trying to lose weight again. I cannot work anymore because my knees are so bad.....I now weight 317lbs. I thank all of you for your encouragement. Hope to do it this time. I am 59 years old so it's going to be a uphill battle for me.

04/30/2014. 317.4lbs

I agree. Tell me is there a way to find out what to eat to meet the calorie goal? This system tells me that I need to eat 2700 calories a day to reach my goal.

What system is telling you that?

Fitday will give you a calorie goal to reach your goal weight by a date that you specify.

I'm fairly new the boards on Fitday.com but not to the website itself. I've used it off and on for a couple of years. When I use it, I do really well. Then I fall off the proverbial wagon.

I realized (again) that my weight was getting out of control. In November 2013, I was at my heaviest at 363. Since then, without a huge amount of effort other than cutting out dark soft drinks and caffeine, I lost about 20 lbs. Since September 10th, I've recommitted myself to my weight loss.

I've cut out all soft drinks except for about once a week or so (I only buy one at a time or have one when out to eat) and drink water instead. I'm keeping between 80-100 oz of water a day. I'm walking almost every day plus just generally getting off the couch more. I'm eating smaller portions and recording all my food in my food journal. I've set some mini goals to meet to make losing 208 lbs (from the 363 in November) seem a little less intimidating.

I've gotten some great tips from here. Thanks and good luck to everyone!

Just cutting down on the soft drinks is a huge step. Good for you!

Hi Kathy,
I want to lose weight. I am trying to lose but fails regulate or break continuity of my hard work. These parties, Fast food any suggestion to avoid or sometimes I lose hope and start eating again.
