Monday night I was at the doctor's to get my B12 shot (I have a deficiency and need monthly shots or I feel pretty cruddy). I told him about the lifestyle change, and the weight loss and asked him if he could take my blood pressure.
I just about died when it said 140/88. Then he said it was probably nerves, and I said the cuff had been hurting my arm. He tried my left arm, and it was 125/80. So he laughs, and goes, "well...that CAN happen", and goes back to my other arm again, and it said 132/80-something. He said technically he's supposed to take the highest measurement. I said, "can't we just go with the left arm measurement?" lol.
He asked if I wanted him to weigh me so we could track it, but since it was the first day of my TOM, I said, "heck no, not today!" Frustrated I'm going to have to wait for another few days before I have any idea what weight loss I've had. Right now the scale is stuck at 236.2, but then again I knew better than to step on it this week!
Congrats on all the losses so far this week, you guys are doing awesome.

Good for you, and you've hit the Challenge goal early to boot!
We've both around 100 left to go, so we're in the home stretch. Keep up the great work.

Thanks Michael,

I’m kinda surprised that I was able to get back on line in just 2 days, but I had my official weight yesterday…Drum roll please…I was down another 2.4#s from last Wednesday…that makes a total of 9.8#s in a month Considering I haven’t been able to track here every day, I think that’s awesome
Congrats to everyone that is making it happen in their lives…Keep on keeping on .
Jen, good to see you. Almost 2.5lbs a week average is great--keep it up! The first thing I did when I got home from camp was to enter my five days of food and activities--I hate it when I can't get everything right into the computer. But, writing it down is next best, then entering it when you can.
Keep up that walking and have a great day!
Regards,
Michael

Great job! You've just gotta keep chippin' away at it. I seem to average around 2 pounds per week, which doesn't seem like much from day to day, but it adds up quicker than you think. I've lost 22 pounds since signing up here in late January, and I feel great.
