Good idea! I need someone to keep me accountable...
Today, I weigh 171.2. I am beginning to despise the 170s. They won't go away!!!

Ah, it's nice to see some replies here!
KMS - congrats on the weight loss, that's an awesome start! You don't *have* to work out in the morning (I'm more of an afternoon or evening exerciser, myself), but if that's the only way it'll happen, well, then...just do it! The hardest part is starting - once you get going, it'll become habit-forming, provided you're doing something you like.
Mini-goals are a good tool; FitDay member mecompo sets up 10% challenges that give you 3 months to lose 10% of your body weight. If 20# by Halloween seems like something within reach, then by all means go for it! My only advice would be to make sure your goal is something that you have to push for, but isn't unreasonable.
Farah - it is good to see you again; welcome back.
Kristin - I'm with you about the 170's, but you'll see 'em go before I do.

Changeisgood- Thanks for the reply! I'm in pharmacy school and I'm married with a 6 year old, thus the push for morning workouts. I feel like I barely have time and once school starts up...well, lets just say I need to start working out now because it will never stick if I start it at the end of August!
Farah- Good for you for coming back when you're just a few pounds back over your goal. If I ever reach my goal weight (it seems impossible sometimes) I plan on maintaining like you! It's so smart to be proactive because it can be 5 or 10 lbs more instead of 3 in no time!

We went to the farmers market and I, ahem, ate a Frech baguette with my daughter lol We have a weakness for fresh baked bread! But we also got lots of fruits, veggies and some delicious local organic homemade pesto
Well, my hubby, daughter and I are headed home for a weekend, I love mom's cooking and its usually pretty healthy, so here's to drinking lots of water, taking a walk after dinner and saying no to second helpings!

Hi everyone!! I love being a part of this guys Well I ate corned beef and cabbage and cheesecake this weekend :O You can't stop life to lose weight but you can bust your butt after you indulge! So I'm making goals for this week.
Every day I will:
1. Wake up early and do the 30 day shred
2. Eat healthy, smart and under 1300 calories
3. Drink at least 100oz water
4. Take my vitamin
Anyone else have any goals for this week? <3
