Water is a huge contributing factor of weight loss. It boils down to the calories consumed. Water has 0 calories verses drinking sodas, sugary juices, and energy drinks which contain a large amount of calories and sugars. Drinking water with a meal means a lower intake of calories thus leading to weight loss.

I'd already knocked out all sugary sodas and had only been drinking the occasional 1-2 glasses of naturally flavored waters per day as part of my normal routine. Since getting more serious about my tracking & eating here, I've increased my plain water consumption to 2-3 glasses per day and 2-3 glasses of green tea (mixed w/ peppermint) per day. This is a big change for me, and I will be increasing my plain water consumption to 5-6 glasses per day hopefully within the next few weeks. I've noticed feeling a lot less hungry in between meals and less likely to overeat during meals. Also, it's weird, but I've started to feel dry skin in my hands and my throat gets dry in between glasses of water. hmmm...

water
you should drink eight 8-ounce glasses of water a day. How much water you actually need depends on your weight, level of activity, the temperature and humidity of your environment, and your diet. Your diet makes a difference because if you eat plenty of water-dense foods like fruits and vegetables your need to drink water will be diminished.

Drinking more and more water really helps to decrease weight and reduce fat from the body. My body weight was 99 kg and I was suffering from obesity. I take care about myself with proper exercise and eating fat free food. If I feel hunger, I used to drink plenty of water everyday.
