I'm around off and on too. I need to check in periodically because I did gain in January/February when my husband was out of town. I'm afraid to weigh, but my jeans are tighter :(. So, I'm back to logging my food. It really does help -- keeps me honest.

Welcome new people. You'll help to keep me motivated, I'm sure!

Hi all. I am new here and love that we are all in this together.

At the beginning of the year I was 133. (Up two pounds from last year and up 16 from 4 years ago when I had a life change. My highest at one point was 180 but that is another story) I was doing plenty of cardio, but I guess I was doing plenty of eating too. I started weight training and I quickly went up to 137 pounds. I was frustrated so I started logging my food here. Today I am down to 127.4. My goal is 117 by the end of the year or sooner, so I got ten to go. What a slow process, but every .2 ounce is a victory. Please help keep me going.

Thanks all.

Had a disappointing weekend, scale wise. Had been trying harder last week, I wonder if a small amount of weight training could make an impact that quickly? Didn't weigh in this morning, but feeling hopeful for the week ahead!

PS. Training for another 5k, and don't want to carry this extra weight with me..
